In the merciless current of time, Fana dances with the unreachable eternity. Fana, oh you fragile mirror of life, Baqa, you eternal horizon that always beckons. Particles of existence scatter, In the boundless ocean of nothingness. Each breath is a step towards annihilation, Yet in annihilation, the seed of eternity is hidden. Ibn Arabi whispers about the unity of existence, Where the fleeting and the eternal are one. In the shattered mirror of multiplicity, The singular face of the One is reflected. Fana fil-fana, lost in oblivion, Opens the door to the eternal baqa billah. Rumi spins in the intoxicating dance of sema, Seeking the eternal in the temporary. Quantum fluctuations give birth and destroy, In the unmeasurable scale of time. Yet information, oh paradox of eternity, Never disappears, only transforms. Entropy corrodes the fleeting structure, Towards the cold heat death of the universe. But in the boundless cosmic cycle, The Big Crunch gives birth to the universe anew in the Big Bang. Memento mori whispers in the ear of the fleeting, While amor fati embraces fate with open arms. Within the limited time given, We seek meaning that transcends the fleeting. Buddha’s Nirvana is the extinction of the fleeting, Not emptiness, but an indescribable fullness. Fana and baqa are not opposites, but unity, Like the wave and the ocean that cannot be separated. The cosmic hologram projects the illusion of separation, But at its core, everything is one unity. The fleeting is the shadow of the eternal, And the eternal manifests itself in the fleeting. Oh soul that thirsts for eternity, Find the eternal in every fleeting moment. For in the dance between being and non-being, The secret of existence is revealed. Fana and baqa, two faces of the same coin, Teach us to love and let go. In impermanence, we find freedom, To witness the endless wonder.
